A wall collapsed at a Lower East Side construction site Monday morning, killing one worker and injuring another, authorities said.

First responders rushed to the scene at 60 Norfolk St. near Broome St. after getting a 9:58 a.m. call and found two workers buried under a collapsed wall.

A dual-tower complex that will include 500 apartments and a new synagogue is being built there in place of the landmark synagogue that once stood there.

One worker was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive, but the other, taken to New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, died a short time later, officials said.

In 2017, a fire gutted the Beth Hamedrash Hagadol Synagogue, but part of the main walls were salvaged and incorporated into the plans for the new development. It wasn’t clear if those walls were involved in Monday’s collapse.
