Violent Democrat Activist Sentenced to 15 Days in Jail For Throwing Slushie at GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz

A woman who threw a slushie at Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz has been sentenced to 15 days in jail for the assault.

Amanda Kondrat’yev, 35, was facing up to a year in prison for assaulting a member of Congress, but lucked out with the short sentence as well as one year of probation and a $500 fine.

The left in the UK had started a trend of throwing milkshakes at those they oppose politically — such as Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage. Naturally, the abhorrent trend crossed over the to the United States.

Kondrat’yev had ran against Gaetz in 2016.

“Constituents deserve to be safe at events hosted by our congressional office,” Gaetz wrote in a victim impact statement. “My staff deserves to be safe. Their families and mine shouldn’t have to worry that while federal officials are doing their jobs, we are at risk of assault.”

“While we were asking for no jail time, we are glad the judge went below the guidelines,” the woman’s lawyer, Eric Stevenson, said.

The far-left activist tweeted thanking everyone who helped her through “SlushieGate.”

“Thank you to everyone that helped me through this SlushieGate madness. Special thanks to Eric Stevenson of @StevensonKlotz, and to all my friends and family that were with me in person or in spirit,” the violent leftist tweeted. “15 days jail, 1 yr probation, $500 fine. Not ideal, but I will survive.”

Rep. Gaetz has said that he is pleased with the outcome.

“I am pleased with the court’s decision today to sentence Amanda Kondrat’yev to 15 days in jail and one year of probation,” he tweeted. “Physical assault has no place in our political discourse, and if individuals choose to engage in such activities at our events they will be prosecuted.”
