President Donald Trump’s favorite meme-maker Carpe Donktum was suspended from Twitter on Monday, immediately after sharing an exclusive clip provided to him by Project Veritas.
UPDATE: Donktum’s account was promptly restored after massive public outcry.
The video Donktum tweeted was part of Project Veritas’ “Expose CNN” series and featured CNN’s media coordinator Christian Sierra discussing the network’s coverage of shootings.

There has also been controversy surrounding a meme, which was not published by Donktum, but aired at a conference at Trump’s Florida resort over the weekend. The video features Trump’s head imposed onto a character from the movie Kingsman and him slaughtering adversarial media. Though Donktum was accused of creating it by the liberal media, he was not the one behind it.
Donktum’s hilarious video memes are frequently shared by President Trump. In July, he and his family were invited to the White House to meet the president.
It is unclear if the suspension is permanent or if he will be able to regain access to his account. We have reached out to Donktum for clarification and will update this story when more information is available.
This isn’t the first time Donktum has been suspended from the platform. He was suspended in January over a parody clip of Trump confronting CNN’s Jim Acosta at a saloon. The meme was titled “The Twitter Fight at No Wall Corral.”
Eventually, Donktum regained access, but was suspended again in May when Brian Krassenstein tweeted a call for his followers to mass report the meme-maker’s account.
