The companies expected to be represented at the meeting include the Indian oil & gas company Reliance Industries, diversified group Tata Sons and auto sector companies such as Bharat Forge, Mahindra and Mahindra and Motherson, sources confirmed to the outlet.

Trump is set to visit India on Feb. 24-25 for the first time since taking office. He will travel to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat and attend talks in New Delhi. 

The meeting with business officials is set for Feb. 25 in New Delhi. The leaders will reportedly include those focused on job creation and manufacturing in the U.S., sources confirmed to Reuters.

“President (Trump) is keen on acknowledging Indian companies which are focusing on manufacturing in the United States,” an unnamed Washington-based source aware of the plans told the outlet.
