Trump reportedly called Nadler from Air Force One while he was heading to Japan after Nadler appeared to become faint during an event, Yahoo News reported Monday, citing a Nadler staffer.
Trump reportedly told Nadler he saw what had happened on TV and that he found the congressman to be “tough.”
He reportedly said that multiple times and asked if he could do anything to help. A person familiar with the call told Yahoo that they did not discuss politics or impeachment.
Following the incident at the press conference, a Nadler spokesperson said that he had seemed to be dehydrated.
