YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - The Latest on a hearing to determine whether a video recording of an Ohio judge being shot and wounded is a public record (all times local):

A county prosecutor in Ohio has argued that security camera footage of a judge being shot and wounded would reveal critical information about the court’s security system and could endanger public officials going forward if it’s provided to The Associated Press.

Jefferson County Prosecutor Jane Hanlin argued Thursday before Ohio’s Seventh District Court of Appeals in Youngstown. Hanlin appealed after Ohio’s Court of Claims ruled the video was a public record and should be released to the AP.

The AP’s attorney, Jack Greiner, countered the video shows a single incident, doesn’t reveal critical infrastructure information and that Ohio case law shows it’s a public record.

Jefferson County Judge Joseph Bruzzese (bruh-ZEEZ’) Jr. was shot outside a Steubenville courthouse in 2017 by a man who was then killed by a probation officer.
