Moving footage of the 12 Thai soccer players and their coach was released on Wednesday showing them making two-finger victory signs from their hospital beds.

The video shows the boys wearing green surgical masks and sitting up in their beds in the isolation ward at the Chiang Rai Prachanukroh hospital, where they’re recovering following their 18-day ordeal in a partly flooded underground cave.

“Don’t need to worry about their physical health and even more so for their mental health,” said Chaiwetch Thanapaisal, director of the hospital. “Everyone is strong in mind and heart.”

One of the boys, 11-year-old Chanin “Titan” Wiboonrungrueng, who is the youngest, looked asleep under a crisp white sheet. The others — ranging in age from 12 to 16 — and their 25-year-old coach were alert as nurses chatted with some of them.

The boys waved to the cameras and some made the customary Thai sign of respect, hands pressed together while bowing the head.
