A Texas man who posted a threatening YouTube video saying his “dream” was to kill hundreds of Black people was sentenced Tuesday to nearly two years in federal prison.

Manuel Flores, who also showed a rifle in his video, posted the disturbing footage in June in response to the Black Lives Matter protests that were sweeping the nation in the wake of George Floyd’s in-custody death in Minneapolis, authorities said.

In the video, the El Paso resident was seated and only visible from the knees down with what appeared to be an AR-15-style weapon resting on his feet, prosecutors said in a news release. He then said he would be traveling on Interstate 20 through Dallas while daring individuals representing Black Lives Matter to “stop him,” according to prosecutors.

Flores, 43, went on to say that “my dream” was to “take out at least 200 n-----s,” court records show.

Flores was charged with posting a threatening communication over the internet and has been in federal custody since his arrest on June 15. He pleaded guilty in October and admitted to recording and uploading the video — which also included a racist slur in the title.
