CAIRO (AP) - Sudanese activists say paramilitary forces have shot dead a protester amid clashes in a southeastern province.

The Sudan Doctors’ Committee, a medical affiliate of the Sudanese Professionals’ Association, which has spearheaded the protests, says at least seven people were wounded.
