A Staten Island teen held in Russia for more than a month for possessing medical marijuana has been released, according to authorities.

The 19-year-old Pace University film student had been taken into a custody at an airport in St. Petersburg this summer with about two-thirds of an ounce of medicinal pot.

Lorber was found guilty of “attempting to import marijuana purchased in the U.S. into Russia” and fined 15,000 rubles, or $235, according to CBS News. She was released from prison on Monday, but officials told the network that the teen has to stay in St. Petersburg for 10 days before she can return to the U.S.

Russian authorities had previously said that the marijuana was for medicinal purposes but that the “patent for marijuana use in a medical program issued in the United States that the accused carried with her does not apply to the territory of the Russian Federation,” according to NBC News.

Lorber attended Tottenville High School and is majoring in Film and Screen Studies and English at Pace.
