Two Louisville cops have been shot and one suspect is in custody as police face off with protesters after a Kentucky grand jury cleared three officers of charges for the shooting death of Breonna Taylor.
Interim Police Chief Robert Schroeder said the shooting took place at Brooks Street and Broadway at about 8.30pm Wednesday. Both of the officers were rushed to the hospital in stable condition and one was taken into surgery.
'I am very concerned for the safety of our officers,' Schroeder told a press conference just after 10pm.
At least 14 shots rang out at the person holding the camera started running away from the source.
