President Trump Will Visit Florida Twice In The Coming Weeks, Including “Welcome Home” Rally

Shortly after he made his intentions public of relocating to Florida as a full-time permanent resident, President Trump’s campaign unveiled a “Welcome Home” rally for him that is set to be held in Sunrise, Florida next week on November 27th. The event is expected to gather tens of thousands of Floridians, who will make the trek from across the state, just two days before Thanksgiving.

According to Florida Politics, the Florida Democrat Party has launched a fundraising effort to secure the “Trump Baby” balloon, which they will use in their counter-protest outside the BB&T Center. As has happened in the past, leftist protesters are expected to engage in unprovoked political violence against Trump supporters.

For those who are unable to attend the “Welcome Home” rally on the 27th, President Trump will join Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at the Republican Party of Florida’s annual “Statesman Dinner,” which is being held somewhere in Miami, Florida. Tickets to that event can be purchased here.

While it has not yet been announced or confirmed, President Trump has regularly made trips to his Mar-a-Lago residence during the holiday season, which means that Floridians might get even more opportunities to see Trump before we officially enter the tumultuous 2020 presidential campaign cycle.

South Florida has quickly become a focus of President Trump’s re-election campaign, according to multiple statements from campaign officials and local activists.

“President Trump needs to not only win Florida, but also capture as many votes as possible in South Florida to get re-elected. This is his officially his home now and we have to show America that South Floridians are firmly behind the presidents America First agenda,” explained Enrique Tarrio, a Republican candidate for congress in Miami.

“Miami is home to many who have fled socialism of communist regimes over the years. We are grateful for President Trump’s firm stance against the plans of radical Democrats who wish to transform our nation into a place where the freedom and liberty granted by our founding fathers is effectively erased. America will never be a socialist country,” Tarrio concluded.
