Police have criminally charged a Brooklyn man they say brutally hacked his girlfriend and nearly decapitated her friend while the girlfriend’s 4-year-old girl sleptnearby.

Jerry Brown, 34, was charged with murder, attempted murder and weapon possession for the Saturday bloodbath that left his girlfriend Angela Valle, 21, in the hospital in serious condition with deep gashes to her head and body.

Valle’s friend, Savannah Rivera, was nearly decapitated when cops found her body inside the blood-spattered Bushwick Houses apartment on Flushing Ave. near Humboldt St. around 1:30 a.m.

The suspected murder weapon was later found in a building trash compactor, with blood still visible on the blade and an orange price sticker on it, sources said.

Hours before his arrest, Brown spoke to WPIX-TV in a bizarre interview, saying he had a head injury and had been treated at Kings County Hospital. He broke down crying when he asked if his girlfriend was okay and producers told him she was fighting for her life.
