Scandal-plagued opera icon Plácido Domingo is set to make his first performance Sunday since being accused of sexual harassment by nine women.

The tenor, 78, is scheduled to take part in the Salzburg Festival less than two weeks after the allegations emerged in a report by The Associated Press.

The Philadelphia Orchestra and San Francisco Opera have canceled scheduled appearances by Domingo after the claims against him surfaced.

Austria’s Salzburg Festival, where he is slated to perform as Miller in the show “Luisa Miller,” has remained supportive of him amid the claims, while other performances at a number of European opera houses through fall 2020 remain booked.

The allegations against Domingo date back as far as the 1980s, with three women claiming the singer kissed them on the lips and another alleging he placed his hand down her skirt. Multiple accusers claim they were penalized professionally if they rejected Domingo.
