A man who spent over two decades searching for his missing daughter — even becoming a taxi driver with the hope that she’d one day hop into his cab — was finally reunited with her Tuesday.

Mingqing Wang and his wife Dengying Liu had turned away for a moment to serve customers at their fruit stand in Chengdu, China in January 1994 — when their three-year-old Qifeng vanished, according to the South China Morning Post.

“It was only five minutes and then my daughter was gone,” the distraught dad had told West China Daily.

The couple spent years searching for their little girl. Scouring city streets and surrounding areas and taking out advertisements in newspapers and online.

In 2015, Wang signed up as a driver for a local ride-hailing company, the BBC reported. He put up a large sign about his missing child in the window and gave out cards with information about her to all his passengers.
