An MS-13 member wanted in connection with a 2011 murder that landed him on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list has been arrested in Virginia, officials said.

Walter Yovany Gomez was arrested without incident in Woodbridge, Va., about 25 miles south of Washington, the FBI announced Saturday.

The suspect, whose age is between 29 and 33, will be extradited to New Jersey where authorities say he killed Julio Matute in May 2011.

“Gomez will now stand trial for his alleged involvement in a brutal murder which took a young man from his family,” Special Agent Timothy Gallagher said in a statement.

He and an associate were ordered to kill Matute by MS-13 because he was speaking with a rival gang, the FBI alleged.
