A 35-year-old Hawaii woman who has been missing for a week mailed a Mother's Day package on the day she disappeared, loved ones say.

Family members initially believed that Amanda Eller arrived at the Makawao Forest Reserve for a run on the island of Maui at about 8 a.m. on May 8, but now say it is likely her vehicle reached the location after 10:35 a.m.

The package was scanned at the receiving counter at the post office in Haiku at 10:19 a.m., pal Sarah Haynes wrote on the “Find Amanda” Facebook page. The pet-sitter for her parents received the package on Monday.

“It was filled with beautiful items and a lovely letter which included Amanda’s love for her family and excitement about her future,” Haynes wrote.

Some people believed they saw the missing physical therapist and yoga teacher at the reserve before 10:35 a.m., but it likely was another woman “who looks a lot like Amanda,” according to Haynes.
