A suspected drug dealer was fatally shot in the hallway of an East Harlem housing development Wednesday night, police sources said.

Richard Robayo, 44, was shot in the head on the eighth floor of a building in the James Weldon Johnson Houses on E. 115th St. near Park Ave. just after 7 p.m., cops said. He died on the scene.

Robayo, who has a lengthy criminal record with several arrests for drug dealing and MetroCard machine tampering, lists his address as a homeless shelter on Wards Island, sources said. He was staying with his girlfriend in an apartment on the seventh floor, police sources said.

“He was a dealer. He dealt coke and dope to a lot of people in the development," said Josie Morales, 29. Robayo was killed outside her eighth-floor apartment. “He was up there serving somebody.”
