A 26-year-old, Colombian resident was busted Tuesday at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport after he unsuccessfully tried smuggling 35 pounds of liquid cocaine inside shampoo bottles, claimed federal authorities.

Officials claimed the contraband coke was stashed inside the unidentified man’s luggage, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Customs and Border Protection officers questioned the 26-year-old man, who had been collecting his checked baggage from the luggage carousel, according to a statement.

After interrogating the man, officers searched his luggage and discovered 24 plastic shampoo bottles concealing $400,000 worth of liquid coke, reported the Chronicle.

A K-9 unit sniffed out the bottles and alerted officers to the drugs inside the bottles, according to officials.
