Joe Biden leads 2020 Democratic field as Bernie Sanders slips: Poll

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. leads his 2020 Democratic rivals, with support ticking up since he announced his presidential run last month, according to a Fox News poll released on Thursday.
Mr. Biden was the preference of 35 percent of Democratic primary voters in the Fox News survey. Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont was the next closest, at 17 percent.
In the new poll, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts was in third at 9 percent; South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg was next at 6 percent; and Sen. Kamala D. Harris of California followed at 5 percent.
Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas was at 4 percent; Sen. Cory A. Booker of New Jersey was at 3 percent; former Obama administration official Julián Castro of Texas and Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota were at 2 percent apiece; and former Rep. John Delaney of Maryland, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio, author Marianne Williamson, and entrepreneur Andrew Yang were all at 1 percent.
In a hypothetical head-to-head match-up, Mr. Biden led President Trump by 11 points, 49 percent to 38 percent.
