Joe Biden Accidentally Calls Bernie Sanders ‘President’

Oof. Poor Joe.

The former vice president had a tough night on Thursday at the Democratic debate in Houston.

First, his teeth nearly fell out of his face (or at least it looked like that).

Then the 76-year-old candidate was asked how he would bridge the gap between rich and poor students.

“Play the radio, make sure the television,  excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night. Make sure that kids hear words, a kid coming from a very poor school, a very poor background will hear four million words fewer spoken by the time we get there,” he said.

The record player? Like this?

Then, in another classic gaffe, Biden called Sen. Bernie Sanders “president.”

The blunder came as Biden and the Vermont socialist discussed reducing costs in a Medicare for All plan.

As Biden spoke he pointed to Sanders and said: ‘If you notice, nobody’s yet said how much it’s going to cost the taxpayer. I hear this, large savings, the president thinks,” he said, quickly adding, “my friend from Vermont thinks….”
