IT’S IN THE DATA: The Common Flu Had 12 Times More Hospitalizations than COVID-19 Yet No Media Hysteria

As more data comes in we are able to see more clearly the extent of the coronavirus pandemic in the US and around the world.

The number of individuals hospitalized from the virus is one relevant measurement.

To date in the US we have had around 20,000 coronavirus (COVID19) patients admitted in the hospital.  However, this number is many times less of those Americans hospitalized every year from the flu:

We don’t know how many of these people reach the point where they are admitted into the ICU.  But current numbers suggest the flu has many times more admitted to hospitals than the coronavirus.

Of course, this could change but with the FDA approving hydroxychloroquine for treatment of the virus may be a huge game-changer in coming days.

Let’s pray for an Easter miracle!

Again, the media is making this a crisis.  But in reality to date, recent flu numbers have been much worse.
