Washington Free Beacon senior investigative reporter Alana Goodman told Fox News on Thursday that Georgia Senate candidate Raphael Warnock (D.) must address allegations of voter registration fraud inside the New Georgia Project, a group he used to lead.
"Warnock has been involved with this group since 2014, so I think he does have to answer for this with Georgian voters," Goodman said on Fox & Friends.
Goodman also urged Georgia governor Brian Kemp (R.) to disclose any details of his administration's investigation into the voter registration group, where Warnock was CEO until February of this year. Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger (R.) said the New Georgia Project "sent voter registration applications to New York City," in a potential violation of state law, and Goodman said that Warnock may be implicated.
"Warnock was [with the New Georgia Project] until earlier this year," Goodman said. "Was he there when these incidents took place?"
The group was also under investigation in 2014 for allegedly filing more than 200 fraudulent ballots.
