Saquon Barkley flashed spectacular speed, moves, and scoring ability despite a heartbreaking 33-31 Giants loss at the Carolina Panthers in Week 5 last season.

Barkley only had 15 carries for 48 yards on the ground, but he proved that with enough touches, he always can make opposing defenses pay. That included four catches for 81 yards and two TDs through the air.

This included a highlight-reel 30-yard run to the left sideline, a 20-yarder to the right side, a 57-yard touchdown catch from Odell Beckham Jr., and a 15-yard swing pass TD from Eli Manning.

Barkley’s big-play ability headlines our Big Blue Kool-Aid Rewind from Week 5, when the Giants scored 30 points for the first time in 38 games, dating back to Week 17 of 2015.

Barkley broke out the video game moves early in the third quarter for a 30-yard run. He did a spin move in the backfield, shook left and broke out to the sideline, somehow turned on the jets to split a hole that was closing 10 yards upfield, and broke a couple tackles before it took a herd of Panthers to bring him down. Barkley is dangerous when he uses only one of these moves on a given play. When he breaks out his full arsenal, watch out.
