Flashback: Grassley Wrote LETTER Requesting DIA Release Secret Document That Will Exonerate Gen. Flynn

Thursday night, award winning journalist John Solomon revealed the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has a document with exculpatory information that would exonerate Gen. Flynn – yet they are refusing to release it!

“Let me say this about Mike Flynn. In May 2017 there was a document identified to a small number of people in the United State government. It’s in the possession of the Defense Intelligence Agency. For 18 months there’s been an effort to resist declassifying that document,” Solomon said. “I know that that document contains extraordinary exculpatory information about General Flynn. I don’t believe the president has ever been told about this document. One lawmaker discovered it but he was thwarted by the Defense Intelligence Agency in his ability to disclose it. I think we all should ask for that declassification! Get that out. It may enlighten the judge!”

In August of 2017, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and Director Vincent R. Stewart asking for the declassification of a document related to General Flynn.

Grassley asked to declassify a “key piece of information” that is of public interest and in the “interest of fairness to Lt. General Flynn.”

The Deep State is resisting transparency in an effort to take down a three-star general and American hero, Mike Flynn.

On Friday morning, Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) said of the letter from Grassley, “This is critically important, asking for declassification of DIA docs on General Flynn. Americans should be able to see these documents and get the full truth about General Flynn’s involvement in this “collusion” investigation. The secrecy helps no one.”

Meadows added, “At a minimum, Judge Sullivan should review these documents in-camera. General Flynn is an American patriot who deserves our thanks–not someone who should fall victim to an incomplete story.”

Judge Sullivan, who is assigned to General Flynn’s case is demanding to see the FBI summary 302 report about the ambush Flynn interview according to a new court filing Wednesday night.

The FBI agents who ambushed General Flynn on January 24th, 2017 didn’t write their 302 reports on their interview until 7 months later on August 22nd — this is also AFTER Rosenstein wrote his August 2nd memo expanding Mueller’s scope.

POLL: Should Trump Pardon General Flynn?

This is a violation of FBI policy to have a contemporaneous record when interviewing a subject — Sara Carter noted that FBI reports must be placed in the system in a 1-A file within five days of the interview,” said Jeff Danik, former FBI SAC.

Judge Sullivan must be made aware of the classified document that the DIA is withholding as well as the FBI violating 302 report protocol.
