About a dozen horrified witnesses watched the Minnesota man’s life slip away on May 25 while in police custody, according to one of the fired cops’ body-camera footage, reported The Associated Press on Thursday.

The video, which was made available Thursday, originated from ex-officer Tou Thao, who held back about 12 onlookers, many of whom were recording with their cellphones Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin pin Floyd to the ground with his knee.

Two other cops, James Kueng and Thomas Lane helped restrain Floyd, who was suspected of using a counterfeit $20 bill at a convenient store.

In Thao’s video, according to The AP, one eyewitness shouts at Chauvin, “Got off of his f------ neck, bro!” That same man then yells to Thao, “You gonna keep him like that? You gonna let him kill that man in front of you, bro?”

Thao then orders the crowd onto the sidewalk, oddly telling onlookers, “This is why you don’t do drugs, kids.”
