House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings begged for the “help” of whistleblowers in the government to spill information on President Trump and his team.

“I want to say to everybody, all of my whistleblowers, we need your help, because the president and his lawyers are blocking all, every bit of information that we need to do our investigation, he has been trying to block us,” Cummings, D-Md., said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

After the release of a redacted report on Thursday, Cummings said he believes special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was well done. But, Cummings said he wants to see an unredacted version before he makes a final judgment on the 22-month investigation, which turned up no evidence of collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia.

“I think [Mueller] did do a good job, but I will know better once we see the report, the unredacted report come out,” Cummings said.

Mueller’s 448-page report was released Thursday. Attorney General William Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein wrote a four-page summary of Mueller’s investigation last month that cleared Trump of both colluding with Russia and obstructing justice.
