Accessories manufacturer Catalyst on Monday announced an update to its Total Protection Case lineup with new designs for Apple's iPhone 12 series, offering water- and drop-proof protection at a premium price.

The new Total Protection Case for iPhone 12 features a completely sealed design with an IP68 rating tested for immersion in water at depths up to 33 feet. In addition, users can clean and disinfect the case with EPA-approved solutions.

Catalyst claims drop protection of up to 6.6 feet, while the case's simple two-piece construction ensures compatibility with Qi and MagSafe wireless charging devices.

Unique to the Total Protection Case are an optical lens system to accommodate iPhone 12's camera module, as well as special audio ports for clear sound. A patented rotating mute switch and integrated buttons provide easy access to iPhone's controls.

The Total Protection Case comes in black and is up for pre-order at $89.99 through Catalyst's website.
