First Lady Melania Trump made a surprise visit to Texas on Thursday to get a first-hand look at immigration facilities on the border.

“She wants to see what’s real,” said the first lady’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told CNN during a 10-minute press briefing en route to Texas. “She wanted to see as close to what she had been seeing on TV. She wants to see a realistic view of what’s happening.”

“Her goals are to thank law enforcement and social services providers for their hard work, lend support and hear more on how the administration can build upon the already existing efforts to reunite children with their families,” her office said.

Although we have had a crisis on the border for years and years, the hysterical leftists are now sharing photos of children in cages wrapped in foil, blaming President Trump.
The photos of children in cages were taken when Obama was president but nobody cared.
Now it’s a humanitarian crisis and Trump is literally Hitler keeping children in concentration camps, according to the rabid, lying leftists.
Democrats on Tuesday rejected a bill that would keep illegal immigrant families together on the border.
Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) on Tuesday dismissed a legislative proposal backed by Republican leaders to keep immigrant families together.
Homeland Security officials say there have been 148 cases where someone fraudulently posed as a family member of children at the U.S. border from October to April.
On Wednesday, President Trump signed an Executive Order to keep families together at the border, confirms “zero-tolerance” prosecution policy will stay in place.
