Las Vegas resident Maria Sabata Gutierrez has been charged with impersonating a nurse while performing a beauty procedure known as a “vampire facial, claim cops.

The 49-year-old suspect was busted after an alleged “patient” of Gutierrez’s entered a hospital on Sept. 22 complaining of “swelling and pain on her face and head, and bumps in her mouth,” according to an arrest report.

The unidentified woman told cops that she had received a vampire facial — which is meant to activate collagen cells — from someone identified only as Maria, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Gutierrez was initially recommended (to the customer) by a friend who knew Gutierrez as hosting ‘vampire facial’ parties,” explained police. “Gutierrez would drive to (a person’s house) to conduct the vampire facials every other week since April/March of 2020.”

The customer described the procedure as Gutierrez drawing blood from her arm before placing the specimen into a machine which separated the blood. The reworked blood would then be reinjected into the customer’s face.
