A 65-year-old man collapsed and died while waiting for an appointment inside a Job Centre despite being declared fit to work, witnesses say.
The unnamed man was sat in the waiting area of Llanelli Job Centre in Carmarthenshire, when staff realised he had collapsed at 9.30am on Friday.
It is believed he was declared fit for work by the job centre earlier this year, and was waiting for an appointment about Jobseeker's Allowance.
Onlookers watched in horror as staff members and fellow customers rushed to help the man who had collapsed in his chair.
