An Apple employee is now a former Apple employee after he used a customer’s phone and sent himself one of her private photos.

On Nov. 5, Gloria Fuentes wrote in a Facebook post that while she visited an Apple store in Bakersfield, Calif. the prior night to get her screen replaced, the male employee who helped her had sent himself one of her private photos.

“This guy went through my gallery and sent himself one of my EXTREMELY PERSONAL pictures that I took for my boyfriend,” she wrote, adding that the photo was from over a year ago and that it would’ve taken a good bit of scrolling to find, “being that I have over 5,000 pics in my phone."

Fuentes added in the post that she had been scrubbing her phone of sensitive personal data in the days prior to her appointment, but it was moved to an earlier time so she couldn’t clear all her photos.
