Update: New information on the communist agitators in Ferguson can be found here. http://www.thenewscommenter.com/news/outside-leftist-groups-largely-responsible-for-violence-in-ferguson/165534

Here's the inside scoop on the latest voilence in St. Louis. There's a lot of buzz on the ground about a communist group that's bussing members into Ferguson from Chicago. The Revolution Club Chicago members provoked the police with Molotov cocktails the night of August 13th while the local protesters peacefully protested. That's when police then responded with gas and flash grenades. Their reported goal is to make the protests go super-violent, spread across the region, and spark a revolution. They are said to visibly stand out from the local protesters in how they respond to police and intimidate reporters when photos and video are taken of them. Expect to hear more about this in the coming days. H/T Ed & Kenny

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Former Malaysian leader Mahathir Mohamad, joining anti-government protesters for a second day on Sunday, called for a "people's power" movement to topple Prime Minister Najib Razak over a financial scandal. "The only way for the people to get back to the old system is for them to remove this prime minister," said Mahathir, a deeply respected 90-year-old who was once Najib's patron and is now his fiercest critic. "And to remove him, the people must show people's power. The people as a whole do not want this kind of corrupt leader," he told media before heading to…

TOKYO, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Tens of thousands of protesters gathered near Japan's parliament building on Sunday to oppose legislation allowing the military to fight overseas, the latest sign of public mistrust in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's security policy. In one of Japan's biggest protests in years - organizers put the crowd at 120,000 - people of all ages braved occasional rain to join the rally, chanting and holding up placards with slogans such as "No War" and "Abe, quit." Demonstrators swarmed into the street before parliament's main gate after the crowd size made it impossible for police,…

MINNEAPOLIS -- At our just-completed summer meeting of the Democratic National Committee, we circulated a "Special Letter to the President" wherein we asked our DNC colleagues to sign the letter supporting President Barack Obama's leadership in negotiating an agreement that would place strict limits on Iran's nuclear program. 10 years ago this weekend, we nominated Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. During that 2008 campaign, then-Senator Obama had promised to choose diplomacy and engagement over conflict in pursuing American foreign policy objectives. Now, by working with…
